1: Arrive


  • Look for the signage at each platform indicating the oncoming train’s direction of travel, destination, and minutes until it arrives.
  • Wait behind the yellow stripe until the train comes to a complete stop.

2: Board


  • To open the door, knock on the lighted panel next to the door.
  • Depending on your payment method, either tap on at a station validator or hold on to your proof of payment to show to a Fare Inspector or UTA Police Officer when asked. Learn more about how to validate your payment here.

3: Disembark


  • FrontRunner stops at every station. Watch for station names on the platform and listen for audio announcements to confirm your destination or connection information. Onboard digital overhead signs and system maps also show station information.
  • Press the button on or next to the door to exit.
  • If you have an electronic fare card, remember to tap off at a platform validator when you reach your final destination. Learn more about tapping on and off.
